Gathering the Scattered Tribes
Annual Gatherings Focused on Prayer, Worship & Service
The concept of annual Festivals came to life in May of 2010 after the final gathering of the Global Day of Prayer Manasota (GDOP) initiative. Many suggested that we should all gather together more often much like each scattered tribe gathered together in Jerusalem for the different Old Testament Feasts. These feasts were held three times a year at Jerusalem. This meant that Dan, who lived furthest North would in normal life have little to do with Judah who lived in the South. The feasts gave them an opportunity to come together. It was the feasts that kept them Jewish and this became a model for us. Like the Jews, we have established a rhythm of 3 festivals a year in our region. An activity or project flows out of each festival as an opportunity for believers to work together making an impact in the communities of the OMC.
Festival of Worship
Believers from across the OMC gathered together
in ONE Place to Worship
The Festival of Worship occurs every November, which corresponds with Thanksgiving. At this event, the entire OMC meets all together at one place for a corporate worship gathering! Every year, all eight counties will converge somewhere towards the center of the OMC. It is the OMC's gigantic homecoming event!
This will be preceded or followed by worship events in the various counties, cities and churches as the Lord directs.

Festival of the Kingdom
A county-wide worship gathering and service project in each county of the OMC
The Festival of the Kingdom is held every January, February or March surrounding each county's fair. Believers form every County of the OMC can join other churches and ministries once a year at a joint worship service to be held at the county fair.
From that gathering a service project or projects will be determined that believers and churches can do together. This is a demonstrable act to serve each community; Christians working together to serve and bless their cities.
